| : | Stanton Williams were appointed to work as concept architects for the new Next Stores. The design is contemporary but simple and elegant, creating a strong and recognisable architectural identity for Next. With well-proportioned facades that sit in scale with the local setting, the detailing and natural materials create a feeling of quality and warmth, whilst maintaining a human scale. The entrance facade colonnade creates a transitional space between the interior and exterior and draws visitors into the store. This ‘welcome space’ links through to a double height interior atrium with a prominent café on the first floor mezzanine. Additional images on request |
