|:||This canal-side property had been subdivided many times; a massage parlour occupied the ground floor while the lower ground floor had become a dark and claustrophobic flat. Re-linking the lower floors has created one coherent, stylish home. A new shopfront style window sensitively improves the street facade, which together with an adjacent double-height light well, and new balconies to the rear, flood interiors with light. A series of sliding pocket doors transform private rooms into open plan living space.|
