|:||Sverre Fehn's remodelling of the headquarters of Gyldendal Publishing was the Pritziker Prize-winning architect's penultimate project. He retained the original exterior, but built an entirely new - and striking - interior, using his familiar palette of finely sculpted concrete and timber. At its heart is a luminous internal courtyard, centred on a replica of the company's original 'Danish House' headquarters in Copenhagen, and softly lit by eighteen pyramid-shaped concrete skylights of different sizes, set at different angles into pale concrete ribs. Offices and meeting rooms open off the central space, with a sunken amphitheatre seating 100 on the ground floor.|
