| : | Fredbad Arkitekter won an open competition in 2012 to design a new multi-purpose cultural centre for the municipality of Landvetter, near Gothenburg. It opened in 2015, housing a library, auditorium and educational spaces for music and the arts. At the heart of the building is a striking three-storey atrium, clad in pine plywood with dome skylights, which connects the various functions while serving as an indoor square. The exterior is clad in a range of materials: limestone, white render and brass alloy sheeting. |
