|:||Designed by Delhi-based architect Ambrish Arora and his team at Studio Lotus (who previously worked on the Mehrangarh fort and designed Raas Jodhpur), the restaurant has been a year in the making. Team Lotus has stripped off the paint and plaster to reveal the original stone masonry of the palace. The team went to great lengths to recreate the traditional line plaster or choona masala to stay true to the authentic process of construction. With an intricate chevron inlay floor—a modern take on traditional Rajasthani leheriya— a ceiling that mirrors the pattern and stone inlay, this 12 column space, Baradari is a creative confluence of the new and the old.
